isolde kopping atelier/art studio
For a taste of Bohemia in the Northern Rivers region of NSW come and visit Isolde's Atelier art studio in Lennox Head - or come along to our regular life drawing sessions.
Most of my art is figurative, often in the style of German Expressionism, as I draw on my German cultural heritage. I have also embraced the ancient technique of encaustic painting (with wax) and I apply it in a more modern style when painting the figure.
life drawing meetings
Fortnightly two hour non-tutored drawing circles of six to eight like minded people. We draw a nude model in various poses and listen to old vinyls on the turntable - sometimes there's even a bottle of red wine to be shared. The cost at this stage is $20, just enough to cover the model's fee.
The drawing circles meet for two hours, twice a month, usually on a Wednesday evening.
